    _wow its awesome_bagat dre alangalang,i mean a modern alangalang,really i miz alangalang dom,i place where ipinanaganak ako and nagtubo..a haven where i am molded as a real being.hapi moments while growing up..congrats dom,atlast u’[ve found something that completed u…. a self fulfillment on what u are doing will really mean a lot… keep going…enjoy

    Good one my son!!! great panoramic pictures, (with help from adobe photoshop i suppose) memories rushed by, (as you might ask/know; i think i was the first newsboy with a bike in this little town, way back ’67 till ’68.)My oh my… you captured that haunting scene of Aldaba’s kamalig at Katipol-an…this was was my lair in my boyhood and that image is permanently etched in my subconscious you know.

    My compliments..keep it going..love to see more!!

        Was 13 that time. mga sangkay ko hadto, an tawag nira ha akon—-Mange/Mawe…i.miss them.. friends like.. Alfredo Nastor, Ruben Pulma, Lando Pedrera, Mervin Balasanos, Arnol Bantanos, Cesar Yu, Bencio Villafuerte etc..
        (too many to mention them all, and that excluding the girfriends, mind you..lol)

        Yeah, that belltower of the church does remind me..I sometimes would help my friend, Romarico Abogado, (nag monosilyos adto hiya) “swing” those bells pag “repike” to signal the end of the Mass by Padre Pablo Lola..

        Every picture you have posted here does remind me of an experience that is so achingly beautiful and sentimental…well…when one grows older it is the “remembrance of things past” that gives comfort.

        I’m getting carried away…but for one thing sure..you made my eyes moist.

    Pity Mainit River..you must have missed its glory days in years gone by..its clear water.. murmuring as it ripple along shallow bends..and its quite moment on deep curves!! sounds poetic but it was….before.. the need for agriculture was imminent.

    Anyway, still lovely..as it reminds me of endless summers (luang=waray klase) spent hunting for orang and learning to swim breaststroke/backstroke…and at times nearly drowning…yes it was deep in some parts…

      sooner sir I’ll update this post, I’ll post the status of the bridge in binongtoan, because the Engineering office of the Alangalang found out that the half of the bridge drop an inch and shows large cracks.

    I just love these pictures. My mother was from Alangalang and I visited there when I was a child. My mother was the founder of the Alangalang Holy Trinity Society here in the US and it brings my heart joy to see the church and town she loved so much is as beautiful as she was.
